So what did we decide we were doing this Saturday? I know Michelle has to leave early and I think a couple of other players will be MIA, so where does that leave us? One-shot of something? Boardgames?

I think we had decided on a board game day.  I know Robyn had that game she brought last time that she wanted to try out.

I forgot about Robyn's game - that looked so cool! A 1960s heist boardgame? Freaking hell yeah. :)

But then I'm always up for Blood Bowl too, Jessi. The only downside is that obviously that's just for two players. Maybe we can squeeze a game in at the end. Are you looking to try out a Skaven team?

I was going to ask if you guys wanted to play that! It's called Burgle Bros. If everyone (who is coming) is on board, I will bring it.  I was hoping to find a PDF of the rules online, but no luck.  But they do have a "run through" on their website.

I can make it official. I'll be out for 12/5. When I return, I promise to have an interesting prop for the game.  tongue

Played 2 games tonight (my only off night from working out this week - Can't really move that well - sitting was good).  Skaven, I have questions about.  I can beat humans and dwarves... can't beat chaos and elves light me up.  It's like elves have all of the strengths of skaven but not so many weaknesses.   I've ordered some skaven pieces off ebay so will try to make a team out of those but skaven may not be strong enough to do anything with.

Skaven are weak to begin with, Jessi, so you do have to be careful, but they have so much potential. The only weakness that they have that Elves don't is their AG3 compared to AG4, but some of their players even get that. All-round, I think Skaven are a much stronger team. But we can discuss that more on Saturday if you like, rather than clog the forums with it.

Oh, and I keep forgetting, Jessi - check out Blood Bowl Tactics. It's a really comprehensive site that goes into tactics for each team, tactics on how to defeat each team, what skills are good or bad and for who and why, and general tactics like breaking a cage and so on. It's a teeny bit out of date (it is up to date for the Living Rulebook 6 (LRB6), which has had a few minor tweaks and updates and since become the Competition Rules Pack (CRP) and that may in turn be updated again next year I believe) but it's hardly noticeable. Lots of good advice to be found there.

Sorry, just said I shouldn't clog up the forums with BB chatter and then just did! ;)

But anyway, I will have to leave at the usual time on Saturday too, so a game of Blood Bowl is probably not on the cards, sorry. sad Burgle Bros sounds good though and there's always Munchkin. We haven't played Munchkin in so long! smile

Yeah, who wants to hear all that BBB (Blood Bowl Bullshit) around here! But seriously, A few of us others probably have an interest. I'm going to take a look at those tactics. Thanks for posting them.

So it's just me, Robyn and Jessi then? And Michelle for a couple of hours at the start?

UPDATE: Nope, Michelle can't make it all. So am I right in thinking it's just me, Jessi and Robyn?

Sorry all it doesn't look like I'll be making it at all tomorrow.  I was looking forward to some games too.  Maybe we can do it again sometime soon.
