Hi everyone,

Michelle's not feeling up to running the game this Saturday but she will be there and still wants to do something fun. So how about that boardgame day we keep talking about? It is, after all, International Tabletop Day! wink There's probably going to be a fair number of people in the store this Saturday too because of the event, so a non-role-playing day might be good.

My suggestion: anyone of us who wants to brings a game in and we take turns playing each.

How's that sound?

Hey Ash,

I like that idea.  However, I have a regional PTA meeting that got rescheduled to Saturday morning.  I didn't notice the email that they sent earlier this week.  The meeting is from 8am - noon so I won't be able to get to the store until around 12:30 or so.  It's at Roger's Herr Middle School which is about 5 min away from the store.

That's fine with me.  I have the following games I can bring:

Ticket to Ride
Munchkin (standard, Super Munchkin, & Adventure Time)
Dixit
Settlers of Catan
Forbidden Island
Wizard of Oz Fluxx
Cards Against Humanity (+ one expansion)

I'm sure there are a couple others but they have a ton of games available at the store to use.  If anyone knows how to play Pandemic I would love to learn it.

I don't want to schlep all of my games with me so if there is one or two people really want me to bring I will bring them with me.

Russ,

I would love to check out Adventure Time Munchkin or Wizard of Oz Fluxx.

I've always been interested in cards against humanity myself.

I'm good with whatever.
I've got a HUGE munchkin box.  I'll bring that in case we want to play some Munchkin.

Okay, so it sounds like we have a plan then. And, to quote Hannibal Smith, I love it when a plan comes together.

Alright, my innate geekiness aside, here's what we've got:

Jessi brings her huge Munchkin box (I'm sure there's an innuendo in there somewhere... wink ), Russ brings Cards Against Humanity (Michelle says she wants to try that out) and Wizard of Oz Fluxx (which Robyn's interested in - I think that there's a store copy of that but if Russ could bring his copy too just in case that would be appreciated), Michelle will bring Gloom, and she's told me I have to bring Zombies!!! (and as Michelle is still the current GM and she's killed four of my characters already, how could I argue? biggrin ).

That's five games for a six hour (at least) day, so we should be able to play each at least once. And maybe even fit in a game of Velociraptor Cannibalism too!
