The Search/Destroy Agency was established in 2168 as part of the reforms agreed by the unified Earth Government and in response to the increasing lawlessness and expansion of colonial settlement across the galaxy. The Galactic Crime Commission had called for some form of law enforcement assistance several years earlier but it had been ignored; however, with such a large number of mutants exiled from the Earth and with considerable military and combat experience, the creation of an agency that could use their talents was the ideal solution.

Advances in space drive technology during the 21st Century have led to the rapid expansion of humanity throughout the galaxy, accompanied by ambitious (and largely successful) terraforming projects to create a plethora of Earth-like worlds. Following the a ... Read more »

The ramshackle town of Falcon’s Hollow is a wild place that rests perilously close to the infamous Darkmoon Vale.  Nestled in the shadow of Drokar’s crag the shadow of nearby mountains casts a shroud of gloom on the desperate souls who call this place home. It is a place of hardship broken only occasionally by a festival or an infrequent merchant caravan. The people of the tiny village face constant adversity from both the wilderness and the wiles of man. Wolves nip at their heels and cutpurses ply at their pockets.

Still many are drawn here to make their fortune cutting darkwood lumber in the lush forests of the vale. They are undaunted by the mist that hides the feral beasts, trolls and the restless souls of the dead that roam the forest.

The Wehrmacht, in an attempt to bolster it's fighting prowess, turned thousands of it's troops into bloodsucking monsters. Nightmarish myth became horrid reality, and Stalingrad fell almost overnight. But the Vampires weren't the only monsters waiting to be pulled out of the dark.

Nicholas, the Russian Czar, turned to demonic magics as well, cursing many of his troops with lycanthropy. England managed to make contact with the farie realms, bargaining for their return, in exchange for power. Even the surviving Jews were ... Read more »

The Empire again grew too large and too corrupt. The empire fell to the barbarians of the north and the "dark age" fell over all Theah. It was during this time the Second Prophet emerged. Unlike his predecessor, the Second Prophet made war against magic in all it's forms. He started the first crusade - a plan that cost him his life. Still, his message was sown - magic was not only an abomination, but one to fight against with all your might. Many crusades were forged of this theory. The Third Prophet continued this trend, preaching of war against magic. He drew upon the power of the Vaticine Church and Theus himself to rid Theah of magic once and for all. He began in Castille, throwing the noble family who ruled there using their sorcery, out of power and riding the world of it's taint forever. He moved the base of the church from Vodacce (now corrupt ... Read more »
