| Hey Guys,
I don't think I'll be ready to run the game on Saturday (24th). I have been up to my eyeballs in PTSA work (I'm the president this year). I had two meetings last week and I have another two this week. Also, I have the NC ComiCon meeting on Saturday morning so I wouldn't arrive to Atomic until around noon. Are you guys ok playing board games or something on Saturday so I can have some more time to prep? Sorry to disappoint...

| Me too again. My sister planed a big family thing on Saturday 9/24, so I won't be able to make it again.

| No worries. Jessi is ready to start talking Character Creation for her game so we'll get a start on that this weekend. That will give Robyn some more time to prep her game and will give plenty of time for everyone to think/develop characters over the next few weeks for Jessi as well.

| I've just added a History of Amicas to the backgrounds. Please read the story as it will be important to what we will do Saturday. We will be creating 3 characters each. As you will see from the story you are 20 years removed from a great demon war, and there are consequences still being felt due to that war. We will need to create family trees going back to the grandparent level including Brothers/Sisters/Parents/Aunts Uncles/Grand Parents. All races are acceptable.
Something to note... because of the environment in which the characters live.. .and the fact that your parents and grandparents all became battle tested, it would make sense that the children would grow up learning these skills so all characters get 1 free level of Fighter, Ranger, Rogue or Bard.

| We'll run through the character creation with those that can make it and iron out the process. Anyone not there will still have time to fiddle with characters since Robyn should be running her game next time, so we'll still have some lead in before the first game Jessi runs. I'm sure even those of us there will still need to do some work since we'll be doing 3 characters and a family tree. I can't wait to see what kind of characters I'll come up with this time.

| As part of the game we are going to need a genealogy of your character. You will be creating 3 of them - a primary and 2 backups, but we need to know who your character is. I posted a genealogy example last night. It is only 1 page so we aren't talking a lot of work but it's important to the story and (as you will find out Saturday) with the fact everyone can attempt to cast magic and spell blowback is possible having the backup characters in place will prevent a situation like what happened to BayWynn where she was ruthlessly killed by a glitter worm at the beginning of our session and I was going to have to generate a new character on the fly. Your other characters must fit in your genealogy, and must be either 'away from home', 'missing', or 'presumed dead but no body recovered'.
